On March 05, 2017, Mayor Xu of Chaozhou, together with the leaders of the Fire Bureau, Planning Bureau, Ancient City Office and other departments, came to the department store located in Paifang Street, a famous tourist resort in Chaozhou to inspect the Chaozhou Royal Hotel project and conduct on-site coordination work meetings. Mayor Xu is very positive about the design creativity and cultural connotation of the hotel. It is hoped that the hotel will develop into a cultural landmark of archway in the future and promote cultural exchanges between Chaozhou and the world. This time, the Imperial Hotel shocked the mayor, because the Imperial Hotel is too "cattle", the hotel takes the cattle of Guangji Bridge in Chaozhou as the main line of culture, so the image of cattle runs through the design of the whole hotel.
